Load board
Universal offers a load board that can give carriers access to thousands of loads across the US. They offer a range of freight load options which includes vans, flatbeds, specialised loads and intermodal drayage.
You can become a carrier for Universal by applying to them through their website, but you will need to provide a valid MC/MX or USDOT number, a completed W9 form, a certificate of insurance, complete a profile sheet and sign their Master Transportation Brokerage Agreement. You will also need to meet the Carrier Compliance Requirements of having Active Operating Authority for more than three months and have a Safety Rating of satisfactory or none.
