They provide an interactive platform that enables users to rate their experiences with their carriers so that other users can benefit from their experiences by reviewing the company’s reviews when they are comparing quotes.
- Load board
Shiply offers a load board that connects people and businesses with rated shipping companies. They have thousands of carriers across the country. Shippers just need to complete a simple form about their load and submit it, then they receive quotes which can be compared including reviewing customer feedback and insurance, and they can select the best carrier for their needs.
They offer load boards that cater for shipping a range of large items including motorcycles, cars and boats. They also ship furniture, LTL, move homes and freight. They claim that their quotes are often lower than standard rates by up to 75% as the shipping companies are making similar trips and can therefore offer those lower rates on shared or return loads.
There are thousands of jobs posted on their load board every day. Carriers can access the load for free with no subscription fees. The load board allows you to search by location and route, save searches and subscribe to email alerts. Carriers can submit a quote and Shiply’s fee goes on top at 10-15%. The marketplace is transparent with all quotes displayed and you can subscribe to outbid notifications.
